Last week, a reader tipped us off to Tokyo Police Club’s “End of a Spark” being featured in a YP.com/AT&T ad. We liked that ad so much (complete with a kid drummer tearing it up to the song) that we watched some more YP.com spots, and found that they used another favorite band of ours in a separate ad, which features DC indie stalwarts Middle Distance Runner and their...

So this weekend we had the chance to catch up on some back-logged TIVO’ed shows, and The Acorn have popped up again. This time, the band was featured in the ending scene of The Sons of Anarchy, as the song “Even While You’re Sleeping” plays in the background of Jax as he forces Kellan to tell him where his son is.  The Acorn on MySpace | Last.fm

The song is “End of a Spark,” and the commercial also has a cute little kid playing the drums along to the song…check it out. Tokyo Police Club on MySpace | Last.fm

The ultra remixable jam “Hope’s All There Is” plays as Seeley and Lance interview someone on a “cougar...

On the last episode of The League, Peter is eager to share with his friend’s how he scored some free Bears tickets. However, they are all quick to point out that they think he might be in for more than he bargained for….watch the video to find out why, and while you’re at it, check out the sweet sounds of Layton, as his song “Our History” plays in the background. The...
