Last month, we were introduced to the enchanting Molly Marlette thanks to Good Morning America’s Your Three Words segment. Last night, we were introduced to Saddle Ranch. In both cases, we became instantly addicted. In less than a day, we’ve already gone back and watched all the past episodes from Saddle Ranch, and along the way we were happy to hear Molly Marlette’s “Cause...

Our fellow LA-natives probably all know about Saddle Ranch, one of the best steakhouses in LA that you will find, and a staple on the Sunset Strip. What we didn’t know about until yesterday was that VH1 has a new show about the restaurant and some of its employees. Since it’s LA, of course all the cast members/employees are actually in LA for other reasons - acting, starting a salon,...

Your 3 Words is a pretty great segment on Good Morning America, that helped us discover the lovely Molly Marlette. Recently, they played an artist that we discovered long, long ago, as “Jejune Stars” by Bright Eyes provided the pleasant backdrop.

Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory featured a very special guest in its most recent episode - Rob’s mother. She turns out to be quite an entertaining character herself, and we laughed pretty hard when she was talking about Fabio in the limo.
Besides the special guest, they also used a very special song, as Pigeon John’s “The Bomb” made yet another appearance on...

Minutes Til Midnight also popped up in Make It Or Break It the other night. The band features Clif Magreta (also of Scene On TV favorites, Radio FreQ!) and “Right Now” is a propulsive, electronic-infused song that plays during Sasha’s press conference.

Lots of things have been happening on Make It Or Break It lately - Emily found out she’s pregnant, Sasha’s been named coach of the world team, and of course, they’ve been playing a handful of great songs (read about those here, here, and here)
Last night’s episode brought more great music to the forefrunt, as Earl Greyhound’s “Ghost and the Witness”...

Make It Or Break It’s second season has really caught our attention…the show’s pacing, story lines, and overall cohesiveness have definitely improved, and on top of that, they’ve had a string of great song uses.
The latest jam on Make It Or Break It that we have fallen in love with is “I’m Alive” by Radio FreQ!, a synthed up dance tune that will satisfy...

Gossip Girl and Bright Eyes are two entities that we can always trust to bring us good music, so it only makes sense that the two would intersect at some point. In last week’s episode, “The Princesses and the Frog,” Bright Eyes’ “Ladder Song” played at he end of the episode, as Blair gets into an argument and has her cheek cut.
“Ladder Song” is one...

My Life As Liz, our favorite semi-reality TV celebration of nerds everywhere, recently played one of our most blogged about songs, “Bang, Bang, Bang” by Mark Ronson with Q-Tip and MNDR, in the episode “Love’s a Drag.”
The ridiculously catchy dance number played when the nerds visited Bryson as he interns on the set of a SPIN Magazine photo shoot. For some reason, we...
