Scene On TV

Pretty Little Liars is a great show that we’ve been following since the beginning, and this past week’s drama-filled episode “Salt Meets Wound” featured two great songs. First, our underground hometown hip hop hero Pigeon John gets some love, as his adrenaline-pumping single “The Bomb” plays during a flashback of Alison, when she has just caused Noel and his girlfriend to break up, because she thought that Aria might like that. Check out the clip above!

The second great song featured was “Darken Me” by Andy Herrod’s Electric Owls. While his ex-girlfriend Michelle Williams is currently doing quite well for herself with Blue Valentine (opposite SceneOnTV favorite actor/musician Ryan Gosling), Herrod has moved on from his indie-darling band The Comas, to create a more diversified, mature act, Electric Owls. The evocative acoustic tune “Darken Me” plays when Hanna pulls Lucas away from a potential fight with Sean. Unfortunately, the song plays very quietly and we don’t have a video clip, but we sure were excited to hear it.
