Cinemax has recently unveiled a new lineup of summer movies, and it’s quite a fantastic collection - Inception, Due Date, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The A-Team, Machete, The American, My Soul To Take, and It’s Kind of a Funny Story. We haven’t seen The American or My Soul To Take, but the rest are all recommended films.
To make things even better, the mash-up promo video they did for their summer lineup features an absolutely infectious track from MNDR called “Cut Me Out.”
Inception was by far our favorite movie of last year, and in case you missed it (or just want to see it again for the second, third, or thirtieth time), HBO is going to be showing it. We caught a promo ad for it the other night right after the Gaga show, and were equally excited that they used Junip’s “Without You” as background music.
The song’s slow-burning surreal vibe fits perfect with the spot, and the movie as a whole. Check it out above.
