HBO’s Girls is probably the most talked-about new show on TV, and with good reason - it’s been billed as a Sex and the City featuring 20-somethings, and has definitely lived up to those lofty expectations.
We were already fans of the show, but just became even bigger fans after they used “Infinity Guitars” by Sleigh Bells twice in the latest episode, “Hard Being Easy.” The song first plays over the title card for the show and, then while Marnie heads to the coffee shop to talk to Ray, and it was great to hear a track from their raucous debut again after basically having the new album on repeat for the past few months.
