NBC sure must love the Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen collaboration ”Good Time” as much as us, because in addition to featuring it in promos for Today at the Olympics, they have also made it the song for the new promos for their Thursday Comedy nights.

The only bummer for us was that it served as another reminder that this is the last season of The Office. While the show has been going down hill and it’s probably for the best to see it end now before it gets ugly, it still is sad for us to see one of our favorite shows of the past 10 years come to an end…but if you ever need a pick me up song, “Good Time” is a great way to boost your mood.

Dev’s “In the Dark” might just be our favorite new dance floor jam of 2011…seriously does any song better get you in the mood to party than this?

The folks at Parks and Recreation obviously agree, as they use they have the song blasting at Tom’s 720 Entertainment “End of the World” party.

With apologies to Usher and 50 Cent, Nelly’s “Hot In Herre” is probably the most recognizable/defining raunchy dance jam of the past decade…so it only seemed appropriate that it was used in Parks and Recreation, as Ann was getting down on the dance floor in the recent episode “The Fight.”

“Hot In Herre” stands out above many of Nelly’s other tracks in large part because of the signature production from The Neptunes, who also made the wise choice to sample Chuck Brown’s classic “Bustin’ Loose.”
